NEW VS200 Verification System
Easier, quicker, precise traceability
The new Delford VS200 single camera inspection system verifies label
information and positioning with the 100% total security needed for vital
product traceability. The camera automatically captures images from labels
passing on a conveyor and can identify up to 12 pre-programmed fields – typically,
bar code, traceability, sell by date, batch codes, unit prices, packing
codes, promotional and even flash labels.

Pack by pack’ captured images are displayed on a colour screen
to indicate detailed faults by colour imaging and screen colour change.
VS200 can be interfaced with any Delford weigh price labeller or production
system and, if required, can be operated remotely via a LAN.
Delford CT100 Tray Sleever
In response to the growing demand for chilled and frozen ready meals,
the all new, automatic CT100 has been developed to provide fast, high
quality sleeving of individual trays at speeds of up to 100 packs/min.
Compact and portable, it can be easily moved between production lines
and, thanks to menu-driven size adjustment, production changeover time
is minimised.
The CT100 can glue packs on-line allowing lower cost, ‘unglued’ blanks
to be used with confidence. A simple, logical touch screen operator panel
with password protection provides straightforward and secure operation.
Guardian
1000 Checkweigher with Metal Detector
The Guardian 1000 Multipurpose checkweigher with optional integral metal
detector provides a number of important benefits for a wide range of
packaging applications, not least of which is the significant contribution
it makes to reducing the length of production lines – so important
where space is at a premium.
Guardian 1000 is, of course, one of the
most accurate checkweighers around, with accuracy levels down to an impressive
0.5g, throughput of up to 180 packs/min and an easy to use control panel
that features a 500 programme memory for fast product changeover.
Delford 8160 Weigh Price Labeller
The Delford 8160 offers food processors and packers accurate weigh price
labelling at speeds up to 160 packs/min. with fast, effective handling
of packs up to 200mm.
For maximum throughput the machine utilises unique custom-produced software
ensuring packs are systematically spaced across the weigh table with
precision weighing accuracy.
For repeatable label placement, an optional centralising unit can be
located between the weigh table and label station prior to labels being
applied by non-contact air blast.
