Delford launches new Multi-Lane
Checkweigher
for multi-lane processing systems
Delford has extended its range of check weighers
with the introduction of a high performance multi-lane system.
Based on the Guardian 2200 Checkweigher, which offers excellent standards
of reliability and accuracy – even in the most hostile conditions – the
Multi-Lane Checkweighing System can accommodate up to eight lanes from
a single weighing unit.
Designed for use with multi-lane filling and wrapping systems, the
Delford Multi-Lane Checkweigher is fast and efficient – allowing
products to be kept in multi-lanes rather than channelled into single
file for weighing and then diverted back for packing.
Thanks to sophisticated software, each lane is separately identified
on screen and production data gathered. Operating at speeds of excess
than 100 packs per minute on each lane, products are automatically rejected
by drop flap if out of specification. Each lane can also run on independent
weight bands, allowing different products to checkweighed simultaneously.
Average weight and minimum weight programmes are standard with accuracy
of +/-0.5gm according to pack configuration.

The new Delford Multi-Lane Checkweighing System is part of a range of
checkweighers produced by Delford.
Robustly constructed from stainless steel with food quality belts throughout,
the Guardian 2200 is designed to exceed the requirements of IP66, allowing
high pressure hose down for fast, efficient cleaning.
Ideal for fresh and frozen products, whether poultry, fish or meat, the
Guardian 2200 offers excellent flexibility at throughputs of more than
180 packs per minute.
The Guardian 1000 is a general purpose checkweigher offering speeds of
up to 120 packs per minute.
Both Delford Checkweighers offer a selection of reject systems, including
air blast, drop flap, pusher or deflector, and a choice of belt widths
(200-400mm) to suit the particular application.
