IBS2020 Vision Slicer
The IBS2020 Vision Slicer is
a high speed, high volume, continuous feed slicer specifically designed
and robustly constructed for the bacon industry. The advanced Vision
system provides unrivalled on-weight performance, on natural product,
by using a high speed camera to scan the leading face of the product
before slicing.
It measures both the area and the fat/lean ratio, taking into account
their different densities, before adjusting the thickness of the
next slice. This maximises the on-weight percentages and minimises
giveaway.
The continuous product feed incorporates an ingenious end piece
management system that ensures good yields with the added benefit
of significantly higher volumes. The high angle product bed, along
with the twin stacking jump conveyor, produces superb stacks or
shingles with increased tolerance to cold product.
