Based in Eastleigh, Hampshire, Tendercut Meats Limited has grown to become one of the top three companies in the UK producing pre-packed frozen meat products for major UK retailers. The company's product offering includes frozen pork and lamb chops and joints plus frozen pre-packed meat for the growing convenience food sector.
Realising the need for faster cutting speeds and lower levels of waste Tendercut bought its first AEW THURNE 400 bandsaw in 1983. Eight AEW THURNE 400 bandsaws are now helping the company produce over 85 tonnes of frozen lamb and pork cuts a week, for its supermarket customers.
Andrew King, joint managing director Tendercut Meats is pleased with his team of AEW THURNE bandsaws. "They are boringly reliable. They are so good you can't even tell which one is the oldest. They go on working day-in and day-out with very high levels of productivity.

As well as relying on the high speed and quality of AEW THURNE bandsaws Tendercut uses AEW THURNE blades to maintain the high levels of consistent yields which are so important in today's competitive environment. "We have a stock control contract for blades so they are always available, they don't break and the service we get from AEW THURNE is superb."
