AEW Delford Systems launches TS250 MAP Tray Sealing System
AEW Delford Systems is one of the leading UK manufacturers of food processing equipment, offering a wide range of machines and systems for portioning, slicing, grading, sleeving, weighing and labelling.
Now, it has extended its range with the TS250 MAP (Modified Atmosphere Packaging) Tray Sealing System.
Ideal for fresh meats, fish, produce and ready meal packaging applications, the TS250 can accommodate a full range of trays in a choice of 1, 2 or 4 up configuration. Thanks to an integrated lane divider, trays can be automatically loaded from a feed conveyor into the multi configuration sealing carousel.
According to the tray and film specification, the TS250 can operate at up to 15 cycles per minute (60 packs per minute) with full MAP control – and even faster for non-MAP requirements. For quick and easy operation, the system features quick change tooling with no hand tools required and a large film roll to further minimise downtime.
An operator friendly touch screen display with PLC interface for programming also provides a running display of diagnostic features – viewable from both front and rear of the machine.The TS250 Tray Sealer is designed for accuracy, with a precise MAP chamber operating system with pin centring ensuring optimum tray positioning for maximum film cut and sealing performance. The tooling chamber and tray sealing station is also customised to minimise the amount of gas usage for each tray.
Minimum maintenance and easy clean down
The TS250 is robustly built for minimum maintenance and water protected to IP67 for clean down procedures. The advanced design ensures easy, bacteria-free hygiene with easy access to all areas through hinged covers for wash down. There is also a unique ‘park safe’ feature for the gas and vacuum valve during cleaning.
